Product Description
Itraconazole is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug synthesized into the triazole group. It works by destroying fungi through disruption of the enzyme system in fungal cells, leading to reduced production of cytochrome and ergosterol. Cytochrome and ergosterol are essential components of the cell membrane; therefore, disruption of ergosterol production results in the destruction of the fungus.
